CIC offers a full range of services which include rebuild, replacement and tuning.
We offer carryout rebuild service as well on Holley, Quadrajet, Rochester 4-Jet, and Carter WCFB/AFB.
Engine & Exhaust
We offer a full range of engine services including complete rebuilds, crate engine swaps, or performance upgrades. We can do everything from restorative rebuild for your "correct" car, up to any level of power and performance you'd like.
Vintage Air
Update your vintage ride with air conditioning from Vintage Air. Whether your factory AC is not cutting it, or you want to add AC to a car not optioned with it, Vintage Air will offer modern HVAC quality in any application. We offer competitive pricing on carryout systems, or complete installation service as well.
Overdrive Swaps
The number one most desired upgrade on these classics is overdrive. Swapping the old Muncie 4-speed out for a Tremec TKX 5 speed. Swapping the TH350 or TH400 out for a 700R4 or 4L60E. We can upgrade you to lower RPM crusing and better off the line acceleration with a manual or automatic overdrive transmission swap.
Axle & Suspension
We are specialists with suspension restoration and upgrades. We can restore your chassis to exactly as it came off the assembly line, or we can upgrade areas you wish to perform better. The complete package we can upgrade to a full RideTech suspension system for modern performance and handling.
Ignition
Optimal performance of your Corvette or late model muscle includes proper grounding, spark plug selection and installation, wiring and computer control systems. CIC has the expertise to ensure long term reliability. We can rebuild your points distributor to work like new, upgrade to electronic ignition without and evidence, or instlall high performance ignition with an MSD box, high output coil, and plugs and wires that will stand up over time.
Oil & Fluids
Central Iowa Corvette is your shop for routine maintenance. Classic cars are more susceptible to premature wear and can benefit from products like Amsoil's Z-ROD engine oil, which has a high-zinc formulation to better protect against dry starting or prolonged storage, especially in engines with flat-tappet cams.
Interior & Audio
CIC specializes in period correct restoration of seats, carpets, dash, console, mechanical and electronic accessories, instrumentation and lighting. We are a TMI Interiors Distributor as well as OE replacement seat covers and foam. We also offer a full line of period correct audio or can upgrade your system to accommodate modern conveniences like Bluetooth, subwoofers, amplifiers, and speakers.
